Cable One, Nexstar Strike New Retrans Deal

After warnings about possible New Year's Day blackouts, Cable One and Nexstar reached a retrans agreement before the Dec. 31 midnight deadline.

"We reached an agreement prior to the deadline," a Cable One spokesperson confirmed, "so the signal stayed on."

Nexstar stations involved included ABC affiliate WATN –TV Memphis, Tenn.; NBC affiliates KSNF-TV Joplin, Mo., KFDX-TV Wichita Falls, Texas, and KTAL-TV Shreveport, La.
