Cable One Signs `Super' Deal


Cable One Inc. Monday announced a long-term affiliation and carriage
agreement with Starz Encore Group LLC.

The MSO will carry the "Starz Super Pak," Starz Encore's package of movie
channels, as part of its digital-cable premium offerings.

Cable One will offer the Starz Super Pak for $11.95 per month to its 52
systems and 719,300 basic subscribers, with full carriage availability expected
by the end of May.

"Movie-lovers are going to find Starz!, Encore and the rest of the Starz
Super Pak a terrific addition to the Cable One premium lineup, and we pleased to
make the great programming available in our systems around the country," Cable
One vice president of strategic marketing Jerry McKenna said in a release.

Cable One is a subsidiary of The Washington Post Co., and Starz Encore is a
wholly owned subsidiary of Liberty Media Corp.
