Cable Positive is calling for nominations for the “2005 Brad Wojcoski Memorial Award,” which recognizes the cable-industry employee whose efforts have made a significant impact in their community in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

The cable and telecommunications industry’s AIDS-action organization said that in order to be eligible for the award, nominees must be employed by a company in the cable and telecommunications industry, and they must have contributed to the fight against HIV/AIDS in their community and/or provided local support or fund-raising for Cable Positive's programs and services.

The nomination deadline is Monday, Aug. 8, and the winner will be announced in September.

Nominations will be accepted via Cable Positive’s Web site (www.cablepositive.org/programs-wojcoski.html).
