Following a two-month trial, Westman, based in Manitoba, will deploy Hitron’s “Unleash Your WiFi” solution, which includes the vendor’s gateway and MoCA-to-WiFi extenders that work in concert with Hitron’s EasyInstall and MyHitron apps. EasyInstall helps technicians setup the whole-home platform, while MyHitron is designed to help users manage and troubleshoot their home WiFi networks.

Westman is also using OptiMy, a cloud-based machine learning and big data analytics system from Hitron, which is showing off its new wares at this week’s SCTE•ISBE Cable-Tec Expo in Denver.
