Cable Television Laboratories Inc. plans to bring five top MSO CEOs to the
Consumer Electronics Show next month.

The CES is slated for Jan. 8 through 11 in Las Vegas.

CableLabs president Richard Green will accompany 30 cable leaders on a tour
of the show floor.

Among those slated to attend: AT&T Broadband CEO Bill Schleyer, Time
Warner Cable CEO Glenn Britt, Cox Communications Inc. CEO Jim Robbins, Comcast
Corp. president Brian Roberts and Charter Communications Inc. president Carl
Vogel.

The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing also plans to
bring a contingent of cable marketers to the CES, according to CTAM president
Char Beales.

And the direct-broadcast satellite industry -- which does much of its
business through the consumer-electronics retail channel -- will continue to
have a strong presence at the CES.

The Satellite Broadcasting & Communications Association will host a
SkyFORUM event Jan. 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
