CableLabs, Vendors Gear Up for CableNET


Cable Television Laboratories Inc. announced that there will be 45 demonstrations from broadband companies as part of the 13th annual CableNET, which will be part of the exhibit floor at the National Show April 3-5 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

CableLabs said demonstrations will include broadband wireless, OpenCable, voice over Internet protocol, interactive services and 200-megabit-per-second data demonstrations.

Companies include Advanced Digital Broadcast, the American Film Institute’s Digital Content Lab, ATI Technologies Inc., Aurora Networks Inc., Auspice Corp., BitRouter, Camiant Inc., Cauldron Solutions LLC, Clique Communications, Coaxsys Inc., Deloitte Consulting, Dotcast Inc., Ellacoya Networks Inc., Entropic Communications Inc., ExtendMedia Inc., Mahi Networks, Microsoft Corp., Motorola Connected Home Solutions, Multimedia Over Coax Alliance, Navic Networks, NDS Group plc, Cisco Systems Inc.’s Netgear, Nionex GmbH, Nortel Networks Corp., Nuera Communications Inc., Osmosys S.A., Primal Solutions Inc., RealNetworks Inc., Samsung Electronics America Inc., Sandvine Inc., Siemens AG, Softel-USA Inc., Synacor Inc., Telchemy Inc., Telesciences Inc., UniSoft Corp., Vidiom Systems Corp. and Zoran Corp.
