Cablevision Counts Half-Million Optimum Rewards Members

Cablevision Systems Corp.’s consumer rewards program now has more than 500,000 registered members.

Launched in 2006, Optimum Rewards offers qualifying customers subscribing to the operator’s bundle of video, data and telephony services an automatic monthly discount, while enabling customers that sign up for the program to enjoy additional benefits.

Among the premiums, free movie Tuesday nights at Cablevision’s Clearview Cinemas and discounted tickets to events at the company’s Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall venues in Manhattan.

Optimum Rewards members have enjoyed access to recent, free advanced screenings of such recent theatricals as Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Kung Fu Panda, Sponge Bob Pest of the West and Enchanted.

Moreover, they have the opportunity to win such experiences as a seven day/six night trip to the Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island in the Bahamas; a VIP package featuring 20 tickets to "Go, Diego, Go Live! The Great Jaguar Rescue at Radio City," with a private, post-show Rainforest Party featuring a cast member and; the baseball spring training event in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Rewards program members also can take advantage of regular discounts on New York area attraction like the New York Aquarium, Bronx Zoo, Liberty Science Center and Madame Tussauds Museum.
