Camicia to Handle Calif. Affairs for Time Warner

Time Warner Cable hired veteran Joe Camicia as its vice president of California state affairs.

Most recently, Camicia has been executive director of the California State Senate Majority Caucus and a consultant to the state senate president, Don Peralta, advising him on telecommunications policy.

Camicia has a 26-year history in government and cable, having worked for Charter Communications, Marcus Cable and Crown Media Holdings.

He will report to Roger Keating, executive VP of Time Warner's Los Angeles region.
