Cartoon Aims Contest at Buyers

Cartoon Network announced Monday that it is directing a trade contest at
ad-agency media planners and buyers as a way to call attention to its new
late-night 'Adult Swim' programming block.

Time buyers and planners of accounts that advertise to or aim promotions at
adults 18 through 34 will be vying for a five-day/four-night trip for 10 to stay
at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. The winners of the grand-prize drawing will
also get tickets to an aquatic-themed performance by Cirque du Soleil at the
hotel.

To enter, the contest participants must watch an Adult Swim highlights video
sent to them and, in the process, find the secret code within those clips from
seven original series created for that late-night block. That code -- which is
their password for the contest -- must be included when the advertising folks
submit accompanying entry postcards.
