Burger King Corp. and Cartoon Network announced Monday that they've joined
forces on a "Kids Meal" and "Big Kids Meal" promotion that'll run into
The promotion will feature toys inspired by Cartoon's Dragon Ball Z
and Powerpuff Girls.
Each youngster buying the fast-feeder's "Chicken Tenders" meal will get two
toys, according to Burger King senior vice president of marketing programs and
sales Rick Dow.
The promotion, which broke Monday, will run through April 14. As part of the
campaign, each toy combination package will include special codes allowing kids
to win online trading cards on Cartoon's Orbit Web-site area (www.cartoonnetwork.com/).
Burger King will also commercials (via Campbell Mithun) to promote the
double-premium offer and Chicken Tenders, which will also be the featured food
product on Nickelodeon's upcoming Kids' Choice Awards special, set for
