National Hispanic ad agency Castells & Asociados Advertising was recognized for its work on behalf of Adelphia Communications Corp. and Time Warner Cable.
The agency received three awards at the “2004 Excellence in Multicultural Marketing Award” ceremony, held during the 18th Annual National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications Conference Sept. 20 in New York.
Castells won a first-place award for its Adelphia "Movie Poster" campaign and two second-place recognitions for its Time Warner "Wall Art" campaign.
"The Hispanic market is an extremely fertile area for the cable industry, with numerous opportunities for smart companies to gain market share, and we are honored to be recognized for our contributions," Castells CEO Liz Castells-Heard said in a prepared statement.
"These awards are a testament to our strength in marketing the cable industry to Hispanic audiences and our ability to create direct mail that delivers high response rates,” she added.
The 2004 Excellence in Multicultural Marketing Awards were presented by ESPN Deportes, CableWORLD, the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing and NAMIC.
