CBS College Sports Network, teaming with MaxPreps and Burger King, will present eight primetime high school football games this season.
The “MaxPreps High School Football Presented by Burger King” slate kicks off Friday Sept. 5 with Robert E. Lee of Montgomery, Ala. matching up against Prattville, Ala. from Stanley-Jensen Stadium in Prattville.
The schedule features nationally ranked teams including third-ranked Don Bosco Prep of New Jersey and No. 15-ranked Lowndes of Georgia, plus games involving elite recruits like Devon Kennard of Vista High School in Arizona. In addition to live broadcasts, the full slate of games will also be streamed online, available at www.cbssports.com/cbscollegesports.
As part of the sponsorship, the network will air a “BK Breakout Player of the Week” during each broadcast.Burger King Corp. will also be the title sponsor of CBS College Sports Network’s annual college football national signing day show in February.
Moreover, MaxPreps.com will sport an “At the Game Presented by Burger King” application that will provide widespread and in-depth prep football coverage throughout the prep season. The feature will include weekly reports from 40 MaxPreps sideline reporters, who will collectively attend over 400 highs school games. The reports will include news, analysis and video highlights available at MaxPreps.com.
