As Tim Tebow looks to lead the Denver Broncos into the NFL playoffs, CBS Sports Network will celebrate his exploits from the college ranks, ringing in the New Year with a marathon of classic Florida football games, featuring the former Gators quarterback.
The four-game slate kicks off Dec. 31 at 9 p.m.,( ET) with an encore of the Oct. 10, 2007 game in which Tebow throws four touchdown passes against Kentucky, before concluding with the Oct. 17, 2009 matchup, when he led a Florida comeback against Arkansas. (Check out descriptors below.)
In addition, as part of "SEC Week Presented by DR. Pepper," CBS Sports Network will put the finishing touches on its recap of the top 20 games from the conference during the 2011 football season with encore presentations on Dec. 31: 1/ LSU 9 - Alabama 6 on Nov. 5 (6 p.m.); 2/ S. Tebow leads No. 2-ranked Florida over No. 1-ranked Alabama, 31-20, en route to the National Championship. Tebow throws for 216 yards and three touchdowns and rushes for 57 yards.
Georgia vs. Florida (10/31/2009) - Airs Jan. 1, 3 a.m.
The dual-threat quarterback throws for two touchdowns and runs for two touchdowns and 85 yards as Florida pounds Georgia, 45-17.
Arkansas at Florida (10/17/2009) - Airs Jan. 1, 6 a.m.
Tebow leads a game-winning drive in the final minutes as Florida downs Arkansas, 23-20. He throws for 255 yards and one touchdown and rushes for 69 yards.
