The California Cable & Telecommunications Association has tapped cable
veteran Stewart Schley to help build the lineup of educational-panel sessions at the
Western Show.

Schley will be in charge of defining topics and lining up speakers for the 15-plus panels at the show, set Dec. 2-5 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

The CCTA expects some 10,000 attendees this year.

"As our industry rapidly grows more complex, the role of executive-led panels at the Western Show, along with the insight they offer, holds even more significance than in years past," CCTA president and general counsel Spencer Kaitz said in a release.

"With two decades' experience as one of cable's most astute observers and analysts, Stewart will offer us a fresh, sophisticated approach to strategically delivering this key element of the show," he added.

The show also is seeking panel participants.

Those interested in taking part can apply at the show Web site (www.thewesternshow.com).
