The California Cable & Telecommunications Association has tapped cable
veteran Stewart Schley to help build the lineup of educational-panel sessions at the
Schley will be in charge of defining topics and lining up speakers for the 15-plus panels at the show, set Dec. 2-5 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
The CCTA expects some 10,000 attendees this year.
"As our industry rapidly grows more complex, the role of executive-led panels at the Western Show, along with the insight they offer, holds even more significance than in years past," CCTA president and general counsel Spencer Kaitz said in a release.
"With two decades' experience as one of cable's most astute observers and analysts, Stewart will offer us a fresh, sophisticated approach to strategically delivering this key element of the show," he added.
The show also is seeking panel participants.
