New California Cable and Telecommunications Association president Dennis H. Mangers said Friday that the organization would move its headquarters to the state capital, Sacramento, from Oakland.

Mangers took over the CCTA’s presidency June 1 following the retirement of Spencer Kaitz, who had been the trade group’s president and general counsel for the past 24 years.

During the same time period, Mangers has been with the CCTA as senior vice president and principal lobbyist.

The CCTA hosted its last Western Show in December.
