TiVo Inc.’s digital-video-recorder service will be offered to up to 300,000 Cebridge Connections subscribers under terms of an agreement announced Tuesday.
Cebridge said it will offer its subscribers new, stand-alone, 80-hour “TiVo Series2” DVRs, complete with access to “WishList” searches and “Season Pass” recordings.
“This partnership will enhance the service we already deliver and provide our customers with the most sought-after DVR available in the market today,” Cebridge senior vice president of programming and marketing Patty McCaskill said in a prepared statement. “TiVo and its award-wining user interface will help us to differentiate ourselves from the competition and meet our customers’ demands for advanced products and services.”
TiVo executive VP and general manager, consumer division Brodie Keast added, “Working with MSOs of all sizes allows us the opportunity to expand our distribution into new markets, accelerate growth of our subscriber base and increase brand awareness.”
