Celebrities Program `My Trio'

First came theme programming months -- now Trio is getting into theme
programming weeks, the theme being a celebrity programming the week.

For one week per quarter, the entire Trio primetime lineup will be selected
by an outsider and cablecast under the "My Trio" heading.

First up the week of July 20: Time magazine columnist Joel Stein,
whose choices include Idiot Savants (the MTV: Music Television game show
where Stein appeared as a contestant), original series Good Clean Porn (a
look at Debbie Does Dallas, The Devil in Miss Jones and other
genre classics, minus sex scenes) and, for camp's sake, reruns of My Mother
the Car
and Battle of the Network Stars.

Pulp Fiction director Quentin Tarantino will be next with his My Trio
picks the week of Oct. 5, timed with the release of his latest film, Kill
Bill
. Tarantino's lineup, as well as other personalities involved, will be
detailed at a later date.

Trio will continue its policy of one pop-culture theme month per quarter.
Uncensored comedy is the emphasis of this month's schedule, the latest in the
theme effort.

My Trio signifies "taking our pop-culture mission one step further" by hiring
icons and arbiters of the field, president Lauren Zalaznick explained in a
prepared statement.
