PROMAX&BDA, the Los Angeles-based association of promotion, marketing and
design professionals, has named Jim Chabin to a second stint as its CEO.
Chabin was PROMAX CEO from 1992 through 1999, when he joined the Academy of
Television Arts & Sciences as president.
He succeeds Glynn Brailsford, who will now become chief creative officer at
PROMAX, reporting to Chabin.
Prior to 1992, the association was known as Broadcast Promotion &
Under Chabin, PROMAX expanded its membership in the cable industry and the
