Charter Advertisers Join NFL Network Huddle

The NFL Network may not yet have any cable distribution, but it will line up four charter companies in its advertising backfield when the new TV channel kicks off Nov. 4.

America Online Inc., Federal Express Corp., IBM Corp. and Bayer AG’s and GlaxoSmithKline plc's "Levitra" have signed multiyear deals with the network, senior vice president of sales and marketing John Collins said.

Deal terms were not disclosed, but NFL Network advertising packages include a mix of in-program enhancements and show and segment sponsorships, as well as commercial advertising during and between programs.
