BlueHighways TV and Charter Communications Inc. have reached an affiliation agreement, the two parties said Tuesday.
The MSO can now make the network available as part of its digital tier.
Charter added that it could begin rolling out BlueHighways’ free-on-demand service to its headends as early as the first quarter of 2006, with linear service expected to follow. The network currently offers a total of 20 hours of on-demand programming, refreshed monthly.
“BlueHighways TV is a network that explores the music, arts, people, stories and traditions of America that we believe Charter customers will enjoy," Charter executive vice president of programming Sue Hamilton said in a prepared statement.
