Charter Hums with New Pipeline Promotion

New Charter Communications Inc. high-speed cable-modem customers may be
humming a nice tune thanks to a promotional offer that lets them pay $1 for
their first month of service and gives them three months of free access to a
digital-music bank.

The St. Louis-based MSO is offering new Charter Pipeline customers one month
of service for $1 with self-installation, plus three months of premium digital
music from FullAudio Corp.'s MusicNow service for $1.

The offer will run through May 7.

The MusicNow premium tier usually costs $9.95 monthly, giving listeners
access to Internet radio and an unlimited number of conditional downloads --
read listen-only -- from its 200,000-song library supplied by the "Big Five"
record labels, plus indie labels KOCH Entertainment Distribution LLC and
Sanctuary Records Group Inc.

Downloads can be permanently burned to a CD or downloaded to a portable
digital-music device for 99 cents per song.

"Charter recognizes the key role of digital music in enhancing the online
experience and has always been at the forefront of bundling entertainment
options such as MusicNow with its broadband service," FullAudio president and
CEO Scott Kauffman said.

"This new program is a significant step in furthering the shared mission of
Charter and FullAudio -- bringing consumers the easiest-to-use, most
entertaining online experience at a price they can afford," he
