Charter, Starz! Reach Distribution Deal

Charter Communications Inc. and Starz Encore Group LLC inked a distribution
deal Wednesday that calls for the 'Starz Super Pak' to be launched in Charter
digital systems over the next two years.

statement. 'It's a great product with an outstanding lineup of new and themed
movies, including exclusive, first-run movies from Hollywood. Our new
partnership will be instrumental in strengthening Charter's digital leadership
and accelerating future digital growth.'

The Super Pak includes Starz!, Encore, Action, Mystery, Black

Starz!, Westerns, Starz! Family, Love Stories, True Stories, Starz! Theater,
WAM! America's Kidz Network, Starz! Cinema and, to be offered in 2002, Starz!
