Charter, TV One Reach L.A. Carriage Deal

TV One reached an agreement with Charter Communications Inc. that will make the African-American-targeted network available on the MSO’s Los Angeles-area systems in the fourth quarter.

The deal, terms of which were not disclosed, follows the rollout of TV One on Charter’s St. Louis system in mid-August, according to the service’s executive vice president of affiliate sales and marketing, Brad Samuels.

“We are delighted to be gaining carriage in Charter’s largest urban areas, where we know there is strong demand for quality programming for African-American adults,” Samuels said in a prepared statement.
