Christians in Cable said Tuesday that it has created a relief fund to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The organization said cash donations to the “Christians in Cable Disaster Relief Fund” can be sent to: Christians in Cable Hurricane Relief Fund; c/o Bob Higley, Treasurer, 2823 West Irving Blvd.; Irving, Texas, 75061. Checks should be made payable to Christians in Cable and designated for the Hurricane Relief Fund. The group added that 100% of all gifts will go directly to those impacted by the storms.

“We are inviting individuals and companies to join us in providing a helping hand at this time of great need,” Christians in Cable president Tom Brooksher said in a prepared statement. “Beyond monetary gifts, perhaps there are also cable systems and suppliers that would be willing to donate pieces of equipment.”
