CIC, PTA Releasing Reference Guide

Cable in the Classroom and the National PTA are expected to unveil a new report Friday that could serve as reference guide to help parents and other caregivers assess the impact various media can have on young children.

CIC and PTA officials, as well as National Cable & Telecommunications Association president Robert Sachs, are slated to take the cover off "Navigating the Children’s Media Landscape: A Parent’s and Caregiver’s Guide" at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Friday morning.

This report is part of "Cable Puts You in Control," the cable industry’s multimedia educational campaign designed to help families better manage the flow of TV programming into their homes.
