Clearleap is taking its act to Europe.

The Duluth, Ga.-based supplier of multiscreen video logistics systems and software has opened a European headquarters in Amsterdam and has booted up two data centers – one in Amsterdam and another in Frankfurt.

To lead sales efforts in the region, the company has appointed Preben Schack as VP of sales EMEA (Europe,  the Middle East and Africa). Schack most recently served as VP of sales and marketing at TeleBilling, a Denmark-based developer  of billing and customer care systems for mobile and wireline service providers.

Clearleap is timing the move with the launch of a its multiscreen platform at next month's IBC show in Amsterdam.

“With two live data centres and customers already signed in the region, Clearleap is ready to show the European multiscreen space how it can move forward to the next level,” said Braxton Jarratt, CEO of Clearleap, in a statement. “We understand that launching across-device services can be challenging in such a fragmented ecosystem, but we offer solutions that take the complexity out of this process, giving content owners and operators the freedom to spend time on creating and delivering the exciting services their viewers demand.”

Clearleap has not yet disclosed any European wins, but the company has already notched deals with several large U.S.-based companies, including HBO, Scripps Networks interactive, Verizon Communications and Time Warner Cable.
