Net2Phone Inc. said it has expanded its voice-over-Internet-protocol accord with CMA Communications to include four more of the MSO’s systems in Texas and Nevada.
CMA passes 130,000 homes.
The operator has already rolled out Net2Phone gear in Belle Chasse, La., which had been hit by hurricane Katrina. The company said it has been working since the hurricane hit to provide free VoIP calling to Belle Chasse residents impacted by Katrina.
The Louisiana, Texas and Nevada deployments will cover 50,000 homes.
