CN8, The Comcast Network, will air live coverage of the National Governors Association Centennial Meeting and keynote address from Bill Clinton on Saturday, July 12 from 1-5 p.m. (ET)
The exclusive broadcast also will be streamed simultaneously on www.CN8.tv. Highlights from the former president’s 30-minute speech will also be available to Comcast’s national audience through its on-demand service.
Also part of CN8’s exclusive coverage of NGA Centennial Meeting at Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center: a two-part, in-depth discussion with current and former governors; and “A Legacy of Innovation,” a session moderated by Cokie Roberts exploring how governors have dealt with issues and helped to shape important federal policies.
The state leadership event, held from July 11-15, is being hosted Pennsylvania Gov. Edward Rendell, the NGA vice chair and its incoming chairman. Outgoing NGA chairman Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s yearlong initiative, "Securing a Clean Energy Future," will provide a focus for the group’s business agenda.
