CN8 Offers Ford Footage on-Demand


Comcast Cable Communications’ Eastern division and CN8, The Comcast Network are offering special footage from late President Gerald R. Ford's memorial services via video-on-demand.

Content includes the services at the National Cathedral; the funeral procession; the reception of the body; the funeral dismissal; and remembrances and eulogies from elected officials, dignitaries and friends of the family, including President George W. Bush.

The segments are currently available to Comcast’s digital-cable subscribers throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

“The memorial ceremonies surrounding former President Ford's death were both historical and extremely moving, and we are pleased that we can use the power of video-on-demand to allow our digital-cable customers to watch highlights of their choosing at their own convenience," said Michael Doyle, president of Comcast’s Eastern division and founder of CN8, in a prepared statement.
