The Comcast Corp.-owned network said the 30-minute show “will feature discussion and analysis of hard-hitting news and newsmakers that goes beyond the headlines to tackle the stories that have a major impact on people's lives.”
Emmy Award-winning journalist Kane is referred to as “the dean of Philadelphia news anchors,” CN8 added.
“We, like so many of our viewers, are thrilled that Larry is returning to TV and honored that he will make his return on CN8, joining our family of award-winning hosts," CN8 vice president and general manager Jon Gorchow said in a prepared statement.
"Larry's expertise in covering the who's who of news and the world's most renowned events will add great value to our Sunday-night programming,” Gorchow added. “We are excited to introduce Kane's unique journalistic style to CN8 viewers from Maine to Virginia and to make it available to Comcast systems nationwide.”
