CNBC, IBM Team On 'The Business Of Innovation' Specials

CNBC will bow the third run of The Business Of Innovation specials Monday night.
CNBC, in association with IBM, will give viewers access to what's happening in cities across the world: from reshaping them, to redefining healthcare, to rethinking work.
Hosted by the network's Mari Bartiromo, the third season begins Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. (ET) (encoring at 1 a.m.) with "Reshaping Cities." The show will also air in those time slots the following two Mondays, with "Redefining Healthcare," followed by "Rethinking Work."
"In a time of unprecedented economic, political and social change, it is imperative for companies and leaders to transform and redefine how they innovate in a way previously unimaginable," said CNBC senior vice president, strategic programming and development Susan Krakower in a statement. "The goal of the series is to get to the heart of what makes our infrastructure, our healthcare system and our workplaces function more efficiently to meet the demands of the future."
Noted IBM manager of branded content development John Fredette: "We believe programming that helps contextualize today's global issues as business imperatives provides real value to today's leaders. We are proud to continue our partnership with CNBC and The Business of Innovation. CNBC is an expert in crafting top business content and the program is a great example of bringing real-world issues front and center, and drawing upon top leaders for practical insight. We hope the series will establish a deeper understanding
