In an attempt to attract younger viewers, Cable News Network is collaborating
with MTV: Music Television.

CNN said it recently sent 26-year-old rookie CNN reporter Jason Bellini to
Afghanistan to file reports on Afghani youth.

Beginning on Monday, the reports will run on MTV Daily News at 8:50 p.m. and
CNN's NewsNight with Aaron Brown at 10 p.m.

Bellini will pose questions submitted by MTV viewers to Afghani teenagers
about life in Afghanistan, CNN said.

Bellini has little reporting experience. Before joining CNN in February, he
was a member of the 'MTV Choose or Lose 2000 Street Team.'

'We know that young adults have been watching CNN in unprecedented numbers
these last three months, so this collaboration is timely and important, and one
we're delighted to undertake,' CNN CEO Walter Isaacson said in a
statement.
