CNN, NY1 Set Sept. 11 Plans


Cable News Network’s Paula Zahn will host a live town-hall meeting on the
second anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Zahn will be joined Thursday at the forum -- which will run from 8 p.m.-9
p.m. on Paula Zahn Now -- by New York Gov. George Pataki. The meeting
will involve a panel that includes former New York City fire commissioner Thomas
Von Essen and former Pentagon spokeswoman and Pentagon-attack survivor Torie

The town-hall forum will take place at St. Paul’s Chapel at Ground Zero.

New York 1 News, Time Warner Cable’s 24-hour news channel, is also airing
weeklong coverage leading up to the second anniversary of the attacks.

For example, New York Tonight will expand to two hours every night and
report live from lower Manhattan from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. And Thursday, NY1 will run
live wall-to-wall coverage of all of the major memorial events taking place
throughout the city.
