CNN Shakes Up Crossfire
Cable News Network said it is expanding Crossfire to a one-hour program, and it shuffled the
debate show's hosts.
Liberal pundits James Carville and Paul Begala will replace longtime co-host
Bill Press 'on the left' beginning April 1. They'll rotate against conservative
co-hosts Robert Novak and Tucker Carlson, who will also rotate.
CNN said it will shoot the program live in front of a studio audience at
George Washington University.
The network is dropping one of Wolf Blitzer's programs, Wolf Blitzer
Reports: The War Room,in order to schedule the new program, which
will run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Blitzer's regular Wolf Blitzer Reports show will continue to run from
5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
