CNN Student News Has Issues


Cable News Network’s CNN Student News wants to educate students about the issues leading up to November’s presidential elections.

The10-minute, cost- and-commercial-free educational program will air special political packages called “Getting to Know the Issues” each Tuesday leading up to Election Day (Nov. 4).

The debut installment Aug. 17 will explore the views of President George W. Bush and Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) on “hot-button” issues of the campaign, the network said.
