CNN Teams Up with Internet Broadcasting


CNN and Internet Broadcasting entered a strategic alliance that combines the latter's network of local news content with the former's global newsgathering resources.

The two companies said they will also create a unique advertising opportunity that leverages 's national audience with Internet Broadcasting's local reach.

CNN will also acquire an equity stake in Internet Broadcasting, joining Hearst-Argyle Television, Post-Newsweek Stations, McGraw-Hill Broadcasting and Split Rock Partners as investors in the company.
