NBC Universal said it has named Allan Cohen Senior Vice President and Controller.
Cohen will report to NBCU chief financial officer Stuart Epstein, who was hired earlier this week.
Cohen will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for NBCU and the businesses in the company's four major financial segments: Broadcast Television, Cable Networks, Filmed Entertainment, and Theme Parks. Cohen formerly served as vice president and assistant controller at Time Warner Inc..
At Time Warner, Cohen was responsible for accounting and reporting matters for all business segments. Prior to Time Warner, Cohen's served as an accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he specialized in the media industry for nearly a decade. He also served for two years as a Securities and Exchange Commission Professional Accounting Fellow for the Division of Corporate Finance.
