Comcast Adding Bay-Area Jobs

Comcast is hanging “help-wanted” signs in the San Francisco Bay area.

The MSO said it will add 500 new jobs in its Bay-area offices “to keep pace with ever-growing demand for high-speed-Internet, cable-television and local-phone services.”

The company added that with these new jobs, it will have added nearly 2,200 permanent, full-time positions in the Bay Area since 2003, bringing it to nearly 6,000 employees in the region by year-end.

Comcast said it expects to fill the positions within the next 90 days.
