Comcast Corp. has added Azteca America of Central California to its lineup throughout the Central Valley.
The Cocola Broadcasting Cos.-owned Spanish-language network produces more than 8,000 hours of original programming annually, including two daily news shows, a range of entertainment and reality shows and the first-division Mexican Soccer League.
The operator added Azteca America to its basic lineup.
"The launch of Azteca America is an example of how Comcast listens to our customers and offers them programming that reflects their diverse interests," Comcast area vice president and general manager Scott Barbee said in a prepared statement.
"We are excited to bring Azteca America's high-quality programming to our growing Hispanic customer base," he added.
