News and other local programming from KTVT CBS 11 and sister station KTXA-TV (UPN 21) will be added to Comcast Corp.’s Comcast On Demand video-on-demand service in the Dallas metro area beginning Tuesday, Jan. 17, the MSO said Thursday.
The operator said the newscasts mark the first local broadcast-news programming to become available exclusively to Comcast Digital Cable customers in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton counties.
The MSO added that its Dallas-area subscribers viewed more than 40 million Comcast On Demand offerings in 2005.
