TotalVid, which provides downloadable video of extreme sports, has struck a deal with Comcast Corp. to provide its online subscribers with pieces of content from its Web site (www.totalvid.com).
The Landmark Communications Inc. unit provides pay-per-view video of extreme sports including surfing, skiing and snowboarding for a few dollars per download.
New Comcast high-speed-data subscribers will now be able to download one free video per month from the TotalVid library for the first 12 months of their online subscription. Certain TotalVid clips also will be available through The Fan, Comcast's online-content portal.
TotalVid offers 1,000 videos across 30 categories.
