Comcast Brings DVRs to D.C.

Comcast Corp. Thursday launched digital-video-recorder service throughout the Washington, D.C., metropolitan region.

The service is now available to the MSO’s digital-cable subscribers in Maryland’s Montgomery and Prince George's counties; Virginia’s Alexandria, Arlington and Prince William counties, as well as Reston; and the District of Columbia.

The DVR service costs Comcast digital subscribers $9.95 per month.
