Comcast Corp. Monday launched its “CableLatino” package in its Denver-area systems.
The MSO said the package includes basic programming, more than 20 Spanish-language channels and its “On Demand en Español” service at a monthly cost of $27.99.
New networks that are part of the package include Canal Sur, Gól TV, TBN en Lace, Infinito, Video Rola, Sorpresa!, Sí TV, and Grande Documentales, with Canal 52 MX and HITN-TV to be added soon.
Comcast added that all Hispanic-programming customers will receive digital-cable set-tops that provide interactive on-screen program guides with parental controls and access to pay-per-view movies, sports, special events and 14 channels of Latin music.
“Offering free and expanded Hispanic-programming packages and On Demand en Español are examples of how Comcast listens to our customers and offers them programming that reflects their diverse interests," Comcast Colorado senior vice president Scott Binder said in a prepared statement.
