Comcast Corp. launched African-American-targeted TV One in Dallas Tuesday.
The network -- which debuted Jan. 19 -- is now available to more than 100,000 expanded-basic subscribers in the city.
"TV One is representative of our efforts to provide the African-American community with expanded programming choices," Comcast vice president and general manager for the Dallas market Hank Fore said in a prepared statement.
Comcast and Radio One Inc. are the network’s primary owners.
The MSO serves more than 500,000 customers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
