Comcast Corp. Wednesday held the grand opening of its newly renovated technology and customer-service center in Washington, D.C.
The MSO said it invested more than $10 million to purchase the building at 900 Michigan Ave. N.E. and renovate more than 35,000 square feet. The new facility houses nearly 200 employees, including customer-service personnel and technicians.
“We are thrilled that Comcast continues to make an impactful commitment to the District through a strong local presence in their state-of-the-art facilities and by creating local jobs to strengthen our workforce in the District,” District of Columbia city administrator Robert Bobb said in a prepared statement.
