Comcast Corp. is now the exclusive distributor of Electronic Arts Inc.’s “EA Sports Fantasy Football,” the MSO said Thursday.
“EA Sports Fantasy Football Presented by Comcast High-Speed Internet” is now available to the MSO’s 6 million high-speed-data customers via its Comcast.net portal (www.comcast.net/comcast.html).
STATS Inc. is powering the game, which is available in two formats: a fully customizable “Commissioner” format for $99.99 and an easy-to-use “League Manager” version for $9.99.
“Partnering with the nation's No. 1 broadband provider is a great way for EA to offer our EA Sports Fantasy Football to Comcast's millions of high-speed-Internet customers," EA Sports Online vice president Chip Lange said in a prepared statement.
“Our loyal customers are anxious to participate in EA Sports' inaugural fantasy-football leagues, and we're looking forward to a successful start to the 2004-05 season,” he added.
