Comcast Entertainment Promotes Talent Executives

Comcast Entertainment Group promoted John Wood to vice president of talent booking and Jennifer Danska to vice president of talent development and casting, officials said Monday.

Wood will oversee E! Entertainment Television's celebrity talent booking teams and works directly with E! Studios Productions on series, including E! News, The Daily10, The Soup, Chelsea Lately, E! True Hollywood Story, and Yo on E! as well as series for The Style Network.

Wood serves as chief talent producer for E!'s highly rated red-carpet award show coverage, including Live From the Red Carpet, nomination specials and countdown/post shows for the annual Academy Awards, Primetime Emmys, Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, Grammys and more.

Additionally, Wood works on high-profile philanthropic initiatives and special events, including celebrity bookings for E!'s public service announcement campaigns and the Environmental Media Awards.

Wood, an 11-year E! veteran, most recently served as Executive Director of Talent/TV for Comcast Entertainment. Prior to E!, Wood worked as a Segment Producer for the syndicated newsmagazine Extra.

Danska will assume primary oversight of talent development and casting for E! and Style. Danska is responsible for forging key relationships within the entertainment industry and attracting new talent to the networks. She is also tasked with pursuing talent for series and pilot development opportunities for the networks through comprehensive casting searches.

Danska previously served as director of talent development for Comcast Entertainment. In this role, Danska helped initiate and develop E!'s new hit reality series Snoop Dogg's Father Hood.
