The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility will support Comcast Corp.’s outreach efforts to the Hispanic community under terms of a multiyear partnership announced Thursday.
The MSO said its diversity commitment has four major areas of focus: work-force diversity, supplier diversity, programming and community investment.
HACR is a coalition of 14 prominent national Hispanic organizations.
“Comcast is one of the leading providers of entertainment and communications services for Hispanics, and we are pleased to offer our resources to them to promote Latino outreach and inclusion throughout their company,” HACR chairman and MANA, A National Latina Organization CEO Alma Morales Riojas said in a prepared statement.
Comcast executive vice president David L. Cohen added, “HACR will be a tremendous resource for Comcast as we continue to expand our diversity initiatives, and we look forward to benefiting from their guidance. Diversity is a philosophy and a practice at Comcast, and this agreement is consistent with our commitment to serve the Hispanic community as an entertainment provider, an employer and a business and community partner.”
