Hoping for a new subscriber bounce, Comcast Corp. has launched an
online-promotion program with partner Leapfrog Online Inc. throughout its
high-speed-data footprint.

Leapfrog -- a Chicago-based marketing-services company that specializes in
online promotions -- has set up a Web site (www.comcastoffers.com) that offers Web
surfers a chance to check for service availability and pricing, then sign up for
Comcast High Speed Internet service. They can choose professional installation
or opt for self-installation kits where available.

"The expansion of sales into the e-tail channel will support Comcast's
continued growth and contribute to expanding our lead as the nation's premier
broadband provider," said Chris Caffrey, Comcast’s vice president of retail
sales, in a release.

"Comcast is committed to reaching new customers where they shop, whether it's
at a retail store or on the Internet," Caffrey added. "What better place than
the Internet to convert dial-up customers to broadband Internet, as well as
those who are dissatisfied with their DSL [digital-subscriber-line]
service?"

Leapfrog also targets potential interested high-speed-data customers via
online publishers, ad networks, search engines and opt-in e-mail ad
houses.
