Comcast Names Research, Marketing VP

Comcast Sports Group Wednesday named Ramon Ramos to the newly created position of vice president of research and marketing solutions.

Comcast officials said Ramos will be responsible for all market research and analysis for Comcast Sports Group’s 10 networks covering 18 professional teams and serving 40 million viewers.

“With accountability and data-based decision making becoming the norm in advertising sales, Ramon’s experience will be a tremendous asset as we leverage our on-air growth and innovation into new opportunities for advertisers,” Ray Warren, Comcast Sports Group’s chief revenue office, said in a statement.
